All we can do is face forward… and take what comes our way

While in Toulouse, France during our Von Wong does Europe tour… we were given the privilage of being hosted by fellow photographers Francesco and Jean-Christophe who took it upon themselves to give us a tour of Toulouse so that we could take exciting polaroids for you folks!

One fo the activities that they ahd planned was to bring us to Les Ailes Anciennes de Toulouse to get us some unique shots as well as a fun day. They had brought a couple models along (Sophia Afgour and Marie Sgns) and although I had told myself that I wasn’t going to do any shooting that day ( I was on break ok!!), I ended up not being able to risk snapping off this quick shot of our dear models.

With the sun rapidly dropping, we didn’t get many tries and with nothing more than speedlights i twas quite hard to cut out our subjects as we wanted but despite that we managed to pull the whole thing off with a quite a bit of awesome teamwork.

The lighting setup turned out to be 1 tungsten gel’ed light bare from camera left, 4 flashes in a foursquare flash bracket coming from the right of the camera hitting our models and a final bare strobe lighting up the bottom of our main wing. Nothing complicated, quite fun
